1-to-1 meeting with TPD
It's a monthly supervision meeting between the trainee and supervisor/TPD designed to review clinical performance, WPBAs, CiP progression, PDP goals, wellbeing risk, and governance issues using contemporaneous evidence. Why it exists
To identify performance drift early
The trainee will get clear expectations and priorities
To ensure continuous evidence generation for ESR and ARCP
Continuous oversight without firefighting
To maintain patient safety and professional standards
Safe space for concerns and well-being issues
How it is conducted
Frequency: Monthly
Duration: 15–20 minutes
Preparation: Trainee completes the short pre-meeting form below (concerns, WPBAs, & PDP update)
